Babajide Sanwo-Olu was born on June 25, 1965 in Lagos State, his father name is Pa Simon Sanwo-Olu, while his mother’s name is Madam Omotunde Sanwo-Olu.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu attend Government Demonstrate School, Gbaja, Surulere Lagos State from there he proceed to Ijebu-ife Grammar School in Ogun State, he completed his Secondary School education here.
He got admission into University Of Lagos, where he study Survey and Geo information, he later got Master Degree in Business Administration from the same University Of Lagos.

BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU’S CAREER

Babajide Sanwo-Olu is an member of the Chartered Institute Of Personnel Management (CIPM), he is also member of Nigeria Institute Of Training and Development (NITAD).

He was a banker between 1994 to 1997, he was a treasurer at the former Lead Marchant Bank PLC,
Sanwo-Olu also work a the head of foreign money market and deputy general manager of United Bank For Africa (UBA).

Babajide Sanwo-Olu work as a deputy general manager, Divisional Head in then First Inland Bank PLC now known as First City Monument Bank.

BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU’S POLITICAL APPOINTMENT

Sanwo-Olu was appointed as the special adviser on cooperate matters by then deputy governor Femi Pedro in 2003.
He later became the acting commissioner of economic planning and budget.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu appoint Babajide Sanwo-Olu as a special adviser on cooperate matters, he later became the commissioner of establishment.
During Babatunde Fashola administration, Babajide Sanwo-Olu was the commissioner for establishment, pension and training.

HOW BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU BECAME THE GOVERNOR OF LAGOS STATE

Babajide Sanwo-Olu won the All Progressive Congress (APC) primary election after defeating the incumbent Governor Akinwumi Abmode, and later won the Gubernatorial Election, he was inaugurated as the Executive Governor Of Lagos State on May 29, 2019,and his Deputy Obafemi Hamsat.
