Korede Bello is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is signed
under Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records and is loved by a lot of
fans for his good boy next door looks and songs. He broke
into the Nigerian music industry when he was featured in the
Mavin All Star song Dorobucci in which he was featured
alongside his other label mates.
And then, his hit track Godwin subsequently sealed his place
in the heart of fans.

His musical performance began when he was 7
years old and he went by the stage name,
African Prince. While in primary school, Korede
Bello went on to write his first song after
forming a music group with a friend. He started
music professionally by recording songs in the
studio while in secondary school, and
eventually released his first single, “Forever”.
After the release, Bello received relatively
positive reviews and was introduced to Don
Jazzy by his manager Casmir Uwaegbute after
which they recorded some songs together
which got Don Jazzy impressed.
On 28 February 2014, he got signed to Mavin
Records under which he has recorded popular
songs like “African Princess” and “Godwin”. He
cites Asa and 2face Idibia as people he draws
inspiration from.

Korede Bello started his music career and tasted stardom at
a very young age. Thus he hasn’t dated too many ladies just
yet as he is currently focusing on his music and growing the
Korede brand. However, he has been romantically linked with
a beautiful lady named Azaria who happens to be quite
acquainted with the Mavin crew. In a post on social media,
they both posted the same picture of a kiss mark on Korede’s
cheek. Azaria wrote on her Instagram page “I finally could kiss
you, baby,” and Korede shared the same photo in his account.

He won the Indigenous & Revelation of the Year and Tush All
Youth Awards 2011. He also won the Most Wanted Artiste,
Hype Award 2012, the R ‘N’ B SINGLE (Male) Yem Awards
2012, as well as the Young Promoter of Cultural Heritage, The
Gong Africa News Magazine 2012.
Korede Bello signed a multimillion naira endorsement deal
with popular telecom company GLO on the 1st of July 2015,
making him one of the certified ambassadors of Glo.
