Henry Rollins was born on February 13, 1961, in Washington, D.C, United States, his full name and real name is Henry Lawrence Garfield.
He is the only son of Iris and Paul Garfield. He was raised by his mother only, because his parents’ divorce when he was in his childhood days. Unfortunately, Henry Rollins was a victim of sexual assault very early in his life, and he had to take medication to overcome his depression and hyperactivity.
Henry Rollins’s education began from at an all-boys preparatory school that helped him become disciplined and also highly dedicated to working. This also happens to be the place where Rollins started to write.
Before Henry Rollins later attended American University but drop out after one semester. Rollins is currently single and has chosen not

In 1980, Henry Rollins and members of “Extorts” came together to create the band, called “State of Alert” of which Henry Rollins was the lead singer. They released their first and only E.P. in 1981.
Henry Rollins was auditioned for and became the lead vocalist of the punk band, “Black Flag.” during this period, he had left his job, sold his car, and relocated to Los Angeles, United States. This band gave some great performance unfortunately they broke up in 1986.
In 1987, Henry Rollins go solo and he released his own songs, called ‘Hot Animal Machine’ and ‘Drive-by Shooting.’ he also release of his own second album, “Big Ugly Mouth.” in the same year.
Henry Rollins formed his own band called Rollins Band, which released numerous albums including The End of Silence, Come in and Burn. The old band was eventually disbanded in 1998, and Rollins invited the members of “Mother Superior” to form a new
Rollins Band. They released albums including getting Some Go Again, Nice, and Rise Above 24 Black Flag Songs to Benefit the West Memphis Three.
In 1996, Henry Rollins became a presenter for the VH1 Legends. Henry has appeared in multiple films including, “Johnny Mnemonic,” “Bad Boys II,” “Morgan’s Ferry,” and “Green Lantern: Emerald Knights.”
