He is the 16th American president of the United States Of America from 1861 to 1865.
Abraham Lincoln is one of the greatest hero of America because he save the Union and emancipator of slaves. he achieve did many things when he was the president of United States.
Abraham Lincoln did not live long as a president because he was assassinated when he was still in power, his death is a great loss for Americans because they need him to complete his task of reunifying of the great nation.

Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809, in a village near Hodgenville, Kentucky United States, his family relocate from Hodgenville Kentucky to Perry County, Indiana because of land dispute In 1817.
When Abraham Lincoln got to Perry County Indiana, they live in public land, they could not buy a land so they start farming, hunting that was where they get money that was later used to buy a land in Indiana.

Nancy Lincoln gave birth to three children, Abraham Lincoln, Sarah Lincoln and Thomas Lincoln, Sarah was older than Abraham Lincoln while Thomas Lincoln was younger than Abraham Lincoln.
Nancy Lincoln died milk sickness called Tremetol, she was at the age of on October 1818, when she was 34, her death was so a great loss for Abraham Lincoln and his family.
After so years Abraham Lincoln’s father marry another woman, Sarah Bush Johnson, she a widow, with three children who live in Kentucky, she was kind and affectionate woman.

Abraham Lincoln parents are most illiterate, so, his step mother, Sarah encourage him to read, Abraham Lincoln was received his former education with 18 months, he always walk many miles to borrow book to read because there is shortage of books in his village, on of the books that he read then was, Pilgrim Progress and Aesop’s Fabies, Robinson Crusoe and also Bible because bible is the only books family have during this period.
Abraham Lincoln’s family moved to Macon County, Illinois in March 1830, later relocate to Coles Country, during this period, Abraham Lincoln was 22 years of age, he lives in a manual labor.

Abraham Lincoln began his politician career when he was elected as the legislature member of the Illinois state from Whig party In 1834, during this period, he teach himself law by reading William Blackstone’s Commentaries on the Law of England, he later moved to Springfield, Illinois In 1837, immediately he got there he start practicing in the John T, Stuart law firm.

Abraham Lincoln’s wife is Mary Todd, they got married on November 4, 1842, Mary was an education woman from a well known family in Kentucky.

Abraham Lincoln was assassinated by well known as and Confederate sympathizer, John Wilkes Booth at Ford’s Theater on April 15, 1865 at the age of 56 in Washington DC, United States. he as taken to the Peterson House and he was laid in coma before nine hours before he finally die the next morning, Abraham Lincoln’s death was a great loss to the citizen of Americans.
His body was lay in state at the United States Capitol before they took him to Springfield Illinois for final resting, his grave was still in Springfield Illinois till this present moment.
