General Farm Workers Needed At Heartland Livestock Services Canada

Heartland Livestock Services located in Moose Jaw, SK is looking for Fall run employees to work fulltime/part-time hours, potential of lots of overtime for the fall months. Heartland Livestock is looking for Yard Helpers, Penners, Sorter, and Labourers.

We are looking for Farmers to oversee our farming operations. The responsibilities of a Farmer include performing physical labor, operating heavy machinery, and supervising farm workers.

To be successful as a Farmer, you should demonstrate a passion for the outdoors, knowledge of agricultural machinery, and physical stamina. Ultimately, a top-notch Farmer should possess physical strength, good hand-eye coordination, and a keen interest in agriculture.

  • Performing manual labor.

  • Devising strategies for harvesting or breeding.
  • Liaising with clients.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the farming industry.
  • Knowledge of farming best practices.
  • Able to work long hours on location.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be physically fit.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.

Candidates will be expected to work outdoors with cattle in a fast-paced auction market atmosphere.  Candidates must be able-bodied and must be open to work 8 hours or longer shifts when necessary to complete an auction sale. Candidates must have experience working with cattle.
